March 20, 2018

Dear Valued Customer,

I just wanted to thank you again for attending the grower meetings that we had in February. I hope the information provided at the meeting helps to make the 2018 growing season successful. Monsanto had asked me if I would follow up with you on a comment that was made about the use rates for Warrant. Monsanto wants to keep the use rate of Warrant for pre-applications and post applications in cotton at a 3 pint/A. use rate.

    > Please do not use any rates higher than this on cotton acres

Based on the number of tank mix options that go out in our area with Warrant there could be an increased chance of “speckling/burning” of cotton foliage with any rate above 3 pints per acre. The 4 pint/A. use rate really applies to other crops, not cotton.

Keep the use rate in cotton with Over-The-Top applications at 3 pints/A.
 Please do not use pre-emerge on sandy soils due to injury potential.
 Always read and follow the label directions.

Monsanto apologizes for the confusion. If you have any additional questions or need any additional information, please call me at the store or contact Joe Kueser (Monsanto sales rep) at 806-789-6504.

Thank you again for all your business. Please let me know if I can help you in anyway this season.

Sincerely,
Monte Bevel
